Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting payroll, budgeting, financial transactions, or accounting processes.
  • Experience coordinating administrative operations and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Competence using office productivity software and administrative systems.

  • Strong attention to detail with commitment to continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise staff, including assigning work, supporting employee development, monitoring performance, and fostering a collaborative, service-oriented workplace.
  • Manage payroll for staff and student employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of issues.
  • Monitor budgets, expenditures, and financial transactions; assist with planning, forecasting, reporting, and invoice processing.
  • Maintain confidential personnel, payroll, and financial records in accordance with university policies.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Facilities Management to coordinate routine and emergency building maintenance, repairs, and projects.
  • Monitor facility conditions, track work orders, maintain documentation, and share updates to library leadership.
  • Develop, document, and improve administrative procedures and operational workflows to increase efficiency and support organizational goals.
  • Contribute to continuous assessment and improvement of processes, communication, and customer service.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise student employees, including oversight of payroll, scheduling, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Support library projects, events, and operational initiatives.
  • Participate in committees and contribute meeting minutes and documentation as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Experience in higher education or a comparable complex organization.
  • Experience supporting facilities or building operations.
  • Experience developing operational documentation and administrative procedures.
  • Familiarity with library operations or academic support environments.
