Responsibilities
  • Act as a software detective by monitoring and investigating issues across critical business systems.
  • Identify and solve issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
  • Configure the Nexthink suite for digital experience monitoring.
  • Analyze user experience data and generate insights.
  • Automate remediation workflows using scripting.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborate with information technology teams to improve the end-user experience.
  • Lead initiatives for proactive issue resolution.
  • Manage and maintain the Nexthink platform, including core components, collectors, and integrations.
  • Ensure data accuracy, performance, and availability of the Nexthink environment.
  • Upgrade and patch the platform according to vendor best practices and security standards.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, campaigns, and investigations to monitor end-user device health, performance, and usage trends.
  • Identify and address issues proactively, including slow login times, application crashes, and network latency.
  • Correlate Nexthink insights with other monitoring tools to improve incident resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Create and share regular reports on digital employee experience metrics, endpoint performance, software usage, and user sentiment.
  • Provide actionable insights to information technology leadership and service desk teams to improve support efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Support incident and problem management by using Nexthink to identify patterns, systemic issues, and impacted users.
  • Partner with the Service Desk and Desktop Engineering teams to resolve recurring or widespread end-user issues.
  • Integrate Nexthink with information technology service management, monitoring, and endpoint management tools such as ServiceNow, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, and Intune.
  • Develop automated workflows and remediation actions using Nexthink Act to improve response times and reduce manual effort.
  • Design and deploy targeted Nexthink campaigns, including surveys and notifications, to collect feedback or drive user awareness.
  • Analyze campaign results to guide decision-making and support improvements.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams and coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure timely resolution of system issues.
  • Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Mentor junior team members to support skill development and knowledge sharing.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance support efficiency and system uptime.
Desired Qualifications
  • Nexthink certification is preferred, including Nexthink Certified Associate or Advanced certification.
  • Microsoft or Citrix certifications are optional.
  • Python or other scripting experience is a plus.

Accenture drops LearnVantage focus, shifts $9B to cybersecurity and mid-market expansion

Accenture is shifting its growth strategy, de-emphasising LearnVantage, a learning and training business it built and promoted heavily in 2024. The company mentioned LearnVantage only once on its June 2026 earnings call, listing it amongst AI enablers rather than highlighting it as a standalone growth driver. Meanwhile, Accenture is redirecting resources toward cybersecurity, which has grown from $700 million in fiscal 2016 to $10 billion in fiscal 2025. The company is acquiring a majority stake in an operational technology security specialist, alongside two smaller firms, combining them into a platform for critical infrastructure. These assets generate $208 million in annual recurring revenue, growing at 48%. Accenture's acquisition budget for fiscal 2026 is approximately $9 billion against $73.1 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue. The company has also launched Accenture Edge, targeting mid-market companies. The stock is down 24.3% over the past year.

Accenture acquires Dutch SAP partner McCoy to boost mid-market AI and ERP capabilities

Accenture has agreed to acquire McCoy, a Dutch SAP transformation partner specialising in mid-market companies. Upon closing, McCoy will join Accenture Edge, the firm's mid-market business serving companies with annual revenues between $300 million and $3 billion. Founded in 2012, McCoy operates from the Netherlands with offices in Spain and the Philippines. The company employs over 380 professionals who design, implement and manage SAP solutions across ERP, data and business applications. McCoy holds SAP Gold Partner status and serves clients in high-tech, manufacturing, public sector, utilities and retail. The acquisition will strengthen Accenture Edge's position in the EMEA mid-market whilst expanding SAP modernisation capabilities in the Netherlands. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.
