OVERVIEW

This position is off-campus and student employees must provide their own transportation to the site.

JOB TITLE: HR Assistant at Cassia

PAY RATE: $18.00/hour

Shifts: Weekly hours are flexible; 8 - 16 hours per week. Flexible hours between 8am-5pm Monday – Friday

LOCATION(S): Cassia home office at 7171 Ohms Lane, Edina, MN 55439. The position is in person.

Cassia is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support our recruitment team by creating engaging content to attract qualified candidates and to attend job fairs with a Recruiter to ultimately attract candidates to work at Cassia.  In this role, you will collaborate with a Recruiter to be responsible for a variety of projects which will include writing job postings, creating email campaigns in Constant Contact, researching information for mailing lists, and attending job fairs. Your work will contribute to the visibility of open positions at Cassia.

Students studying HR, Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, or Communications may be particularly interested in in this opportunity.

Recruiting Coordinator Duties:

• Post and maintain job openings in selected databases.
• Source candidates for available positions.
• Create and send email campaigns through Constant Contact, highlighting open roles and news from Cassia communities (this includes writing brief content and tracking performance metrics such as open and click-through rates).
• Post job opportunities and branded content on Cassia campuses’ Facebook and  LinkedIn sites, and other job boards.
• Accompany Recruiters to job fairs at colleges, high schools and other training venues.
• Assist recruiters with special projects and administrative tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Recruiting Coordinator Qualifications:

• Ability to learn customized software.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain focus and accuracy when handling routine tasks.
• Knowledge of Excel a plus.  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn about general scope of healthcare positions to talk with job seekers at job fairs.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for student employment, St. Thomas students must be degree seeking at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.
