Requirements
  • At least 1 year of technical support, IT support, help desk, operations support, or related experience.
  • Comfort using Unix/Linux command-line tools daily.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux commands including cd, ls, cp, rm, cat, vim, scp, uptime, and journalctl.
  • Experience using Slack.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira, YouTrack, ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar platforms.
  • A valid U.S. driver's license held for at least 3 years.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfort working around vehicles and technology.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for technical issues from vehicle operators and safety drivers.
  • Troubleshoot, document, and escalate technical issues to engineering teams.
  • Use Unix/Linux command-line tools to review logs and assist with diagnostics.
  • Monitor fleet readiness, charging status, and operational health.
  • Perform vehicle startup and shutdown procedures.
  • Support vehicle dispatch and return operations.
  • Conduct basic hardware checks, including cable connections and onboard equipment.
  • Move vehicles around the facility when needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in ticketing systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve issues quickly.
Desired Qualifications
  • Background as a Technical Support Specialist, IT Support Specialist, Help Desk Technician, Desktop Support Technician, Field Support Technician, Systems Support Technician, Operations Support Specialist, Network Operations Center Technician, Data Center Technician, Fleet Operations Specialist, Fleet Coordinator, Technical Operations Associate, Autonomous Vehicle Operations Technician, Vehicle Operations Associate, or Quality Assurance Technician.
  • Computer Science or Information Systems graduate background.
  • Military technical experience.
  • Experience supporting autonomous vehicle technology, advanced robotics, or vehicle systems.
