JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Chemistry Department has a continuing need for qualified Part-Time Academic Teaching Assistants to assist with a variety of courses throughout Summer 2024.
Our needs primarily involve general and organic chemistry laboratories, but there are opportunities that involve other courses, including lecture courses and online courses. Most involve at least a one-semester commitment, but some may involve work for only part of a semester.
We invite applications, which will be reviewed on a continuing basis, from qualified applicants preferably with at least a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or equivalent knowledge based on experience. Qualified applicants should submit a cover letter, resume, and contact information for three professional references.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
