Prime Inc. selects GoodShip to modernize bid management and power ai-driven network intelligence. Deployment expands the GoodShip platform beyond shippers to support carriers, brokers, and other logistics service providers BELLEVUE, WA / ACCESS Newswire / April 7, 2026 / GoodShip, the all-in-one platform for freight orchestration and procurement, today announced that Prime Inc., one of North America's largest asset-based trucking companies, has selected GoodShip to modernize bid management and bring AI-driven network intelligence to its pricing, sales, and operations teams. Prime will serve as an anchor partner as GoodShip expands its platform beyond shipper teams to support asset-based carriers, freight brokers, and other logistics service providers with purpose-built orchestration and pricing tools. Prime will deploy GoodShip as the centralized system of action for pricing, bid history, workflow management, contract storage, and analytics, enabling improved asset utilization and continuous network optimization. Teams can also use Laney, GoodShip's AI Transportation Analyst, to evaluate opportunities and instantly generate insights, reports, and recommended next actions. As a result, Prime can respond to RFPs faster, make more informed decisions, strengthen coordination across teams, and improve overall network performance. "We're proud to partner with Prime, one of the most operationally sophisticated and disciplined carriers in the industry. They set a high bar for how leading capacity providers think about their network, their customers, and long-term performance," said Ryan Soskin, co-founder and CEO of GoodShip. "For years, carriers and brokers in our ecosystem have been asking for a version of GoodShip built for them. Bringing this to market with Prime is an exciting step forward, and we believe it will meaningfully change how capacity providers evaluate freight, operate their business, and compete." Prime sought a modern platform to replace fragmented processes for managing bids, contracts, and pricing data, while improving collaboration across its sales, pricing, and operations teams. With GoodShip, Prime can centralize bid and contract data, apply AI-driven analytics to evaluate RFP opportunities and pricing strategies, improve forecasting and profitability, and bring more structure and insight to customer conversations through dynamic scorecards and performance visibility. "Providing the highest level of service to our shipper customers requires better visibility into our network and the freight we commit to move," said Robert Low, Founder and CEO of Prime Inc. "GoodShip brings our data, pricing strategy, and operational expertise together in one place, and we're excited about the new capabilities it gives our teams to make smarter decisions, strengthen our network, and ultimately deliver even better outcomes for our customers." Prime's selection of GoodShip marks an important milestone for the platform, extending its reach beyond enterprise shippers to support carriers, brokers, and other logistics service providers seeking greater intelligence and automation across their freight networks. About Prime Inc. Prime Inc. is one of North America's largest freight carriers, providing refrigerated, tanker, and flatbed transportation services throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Headquartered in Springfield, Missouri, Prime operates a large fleet of trucks and trailers supported by a nationwide network of professional drivers and logistics professionals, delivering safe and reliable transportation solutions for customers across a wide range of industries.
GoodShip launches AI transportation analyst 'Laney' New tool lets freight teams analyze network data in real time inside GoodShip platform. GoodShip said the AI analyst is intended to help teams make decisions more quickly across their freight networks. (THEPALMER/Getty Images) Transportation teams using GoodShip can now query their freight networks in real time with the launch of Laney, a new AI analyst designed to replace manual analysis and static dashboards. GoodShip announced the launch of Laney on Jan. 13 as what it describes as the transportation industry's first AI transportation analyst. The tool is embedded directly in the GoodShip platform and allows users to ask ad hoc analytical questions that may not already exist in predefined dashboards or reports. Laney is designed to work alongside GoodShip's existing views, workflows and tools, enabling transportation teams to explore data and performance trends without building custom reports. The company said the AI analyst is intended to help teams make decisions more quickly across their freight networks. "Laney brings the full power of GoodShip to every user instantly and intuitively," said Ryan Soskin, co-founder and CEO of GoodShip. "She takes on the heavy analytical work so teams can focus on strategy, relationships and the decisions that move their businesses forward." According to the company, Laney can model procurement award scenarios, identify optimization opportunities, analyze carrier performance and assess how factors like lead time, day of week and seasonality affect cost and service. The tool can also generate custom reports with tables and charts on demand. GoodShip said that unlike general-purpose AI chat tools, Laney connects directly to a customer's transportation network data within GoodShip. That includes data across loads, tenders, carriers, contracts, real-time location information, procurement events and spend benchmarks. GoodShip said insights generated by Laney are transparent and sourced, allowing users to understand how results are produced. "Laney has quickly become an extension of our transportation team," said Taylor Casey, transportation manager at Rise Baking Co. Casey said the tool provides a faster way to explore service metrics and performance trends, including on-time, in-full performance, service failures and carrier trends without searching through reports or spreadsheets. GoodShip said the launch of Laney aligns with its mission to support self-orchestrating transportation networks. The company provides a freight orchestration and procurement platform for enterprise shippers managing truckload, less-than-truckload and spot market freight.
