Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years post-graduate experience in corporate financial planning and analysis (FP&A), investment banking, private equity, corporate development (M&A) or strategy consulting
  • Demonstrable knowledge of financial statements, their relationships, and the underlying business operations they represent
  • Proven experience with quantitative modeling and analytical methods, such as financial forecasting, valuation analyses, operations analytics
Responsibilities
  • Act as the financial visionary for the Polaris, interpreting data, designing processes, and driving accountability in alignment with action plans
  • Effectively communicate complex financial insights to internal and external stakeholders, including the development and persuasive delivery of presentations
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high performing financial managers and analysts, fostering an environment of professional growth and excellence
  • Manage the Polaris P&L results, taking ownership of financial outcomes and key performance metric goals. Drive the annual budgeting and forecast process for multi-year volume growth, communicating financial results to DaVita’s senior executive leadership
  • Chair the internal Polaris capital committee, guiding decisions on multimillion-dollar investments in new clinics and expansion projects
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational leadership to drive improvements in key performance metrics across the operating group
  • Work with the Director of Strategy to spearhead strategic analyses aimed at driving growth and profitability across the operating group
  • Handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes
Desired Qualifications
  • MBA strongly preferred
  • Superior judgment, decision-making skills, and communication skills
  • Healthcare industry experience and/or multi-site operations experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with financial planning, accounting, management, or other database systems such as Anaplan, Hyperion Essbase, Smartsheet, or SQL is an advantage
