  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or typically 10 or more years of related experience
  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
  • Progressive hands-on experience with wireless networks, tactical communications and personal computers
  • Communication and customer interface skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of system level maintenance of networks and communications systems
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for product and system prototypes
  • Assess customer needs and determine appropriate technical solutions for concept and prototype products and systems
  • Perform product installation, testing, error/defect detection and correction
  • Coordinate appropriate corrective action with engineers and operators
Desired Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of operating military units and logistics
  • Familiarity with the network and integration of traditional communications systems and sensors
  • Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience with RF, vehicle installation and maintenance procedures
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, Government, or US Military
  • Leadership experience in the military or civilian organization
