Production Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Product Assistant to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating worker assignments, managing rejection handling, monitoring production operations, conducting inspections, and ensuring effective job assignments. Key Responsibilities

1. Worker Assignment

• Assign tasks and responsibilities to workers based on production needs and team capabilities.
• Coordinate with the Production In-Charge to ensure effective and efficient worker allocation.

2. Rejection Handling

• Take action on online rejections by investigating issues, documenting reasons for rejection, and implementing corrective measures.
• Communicate with relevant team members to address and resolve any quality issues promptly.

3. Monitoring Operations

• Oversee ongoing production operations to ensure they run smoothly according to the production plan.
• Monitor the progress of production activities and report any deviations or issues to the Production In-Charge.

4. Dimensional Inspection

• Conduct online inspections of dimensional parameters to ensure products meet specified quality standards.
• Verify that products are within tolerances and take corrective action if deviations are found.

5. Job Assignment

• Assign specific tasks and jobs to workers in coordination with the Production In-Charge.
• Determine which tasks need prioritization and ensure that workers are clear on their responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in manufacturing or production management are a plus.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control and problem-solving.
