- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP systems)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to lead a team and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes
- Manage and mentor a team of accountants and accounting staff
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Coordinate with external auditors and assist with audits and tax filings
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes
