Requirements
  • Experience administering infrastructure and operating applications deployed on Amazon Web Services.
  • Experience using Terraform to manage single-tenant and multi-tenant systems.
  • Practical experience with IP networking, including virtual private clouds, routing, subnets, proxies, and Domain Name System.
  • Practical experience with network security, including security groups, network access control lists, and firewalls.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and operate Amazon Web Services-based infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code for single-tenant and multi-tenant environments using Terraform.
  • Build and maintain deployment and environment automation using Ansible or a similar tool.
  • Own and evolve continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Design, implement, and refine observability through metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting.
  • Partner with application teams on architecture decisions, performance tuning, and operational readiness.
  • Contribute to security and governance through IAM policies, network security, secrets management, and security scanning.
  • Document systems, patterns, and runbooks so others can operate and extend the platform reliably.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Ansible or another deployment automation and configuration management framework.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions or another continuous integration and continuous delivery platform, such as GitLab CI/CD or CircleCI.
  • Experience working on reliability projects, including setting up alert management tools and on-call practices and debugging failures in distributed systems.
  • Experience setting up observability and operations programs, including collecting and representing telemetry in Grafana and instrumenting applications using OpenTelemetry or another log, metric, and trace aggregation framework.
  • Experience managing PostgreSQL databases in production, including backups, migrations, performance, and monitoring.
  • Experience managing a publish-subscribe or queue technology such as NATS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Amazon Simple Queue Service, or Google Pub/Sub.
  • Familiarity with secrets management tools such as AWS Systems Manager Parameter Store, AWS Secrets Manager, Vault, or similar.
  • Experience or strong interest in cybersecurity, including threat modeling, hardening, and secure defaults.
  • Proficiency in Python or another scripting language for tooling and automation.
  • Experience operating a security scanning tool such as Trivy or a similar vulnerability or container scanner.
  • Experience or interest working with large datasets, including performance, storage trade-offs, and retention policies.
  • Experience managing graph databases such as Neo4j, AWS Neptune, or similar.
  • Experience designing or contributing to runbooks and internal platform documentation for non-infrastructure teams.

Cybersecurity startup Twenty has raised an additional $30 million from Khosla Ventures, bringing its valuation to $1.2 billion. The investment follows the company's recent $100 million Series B led by Accel, which valued it at $1 billion. Founded in 2024, Twenty has now raised a total of $168 million from investors including Khosla Ventures, Accel, General Catalyst, In-Q-Tel, Point72 Ventures, Caffeinated Capital and Friends & Family Capital. The company develops AI-enabled offensive cyber capabilities for the US military and intelligence agencies.
