Hiring Manager: Jade Perraud Le Bouter

Work Schedule: Part-time (15h/week), Monday to Friday, (9:00AM-12:00PM or 1:00PM-5:00PM). Applicants must be available for the full shift duration.

Schedule may vary based on the semester. For the Fall 2026 semester, priority to students available Mondays and Wednesdays (9-5), and Tuesday/Thursday mornings (9-1). Please attach a copy of your Fall class schedule to the application.

Position Summary:

Each year, the David M. Culver Centre: Arts Internship Office hires past interns to help us with a variety of tasks, from administrative support and event planning to student outreach, publicity, and other projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to share your internship experience with current students while gaining valuable logistical and administrative skills in an institutional setting.

Eligibility and Experience:

• Students must be familiar with the Culver Centre: AIO services.

• Priority given to students who have completed an internship through our office in the past

Typical Functions:

• Act as a resource person for students and interns

• General administrative assistance

• Preparation of publicity materials (printed and social media)

• Event planning assistance

• Representing the office to the McGill community (students, staff, Faculty) and outside organizations through meetings & written communication

Required Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications: Microsoft 365, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.

• Strong attention to detail (data entry, text editing, email etiquette, etc.)

• Solid work ethic (punctual, good communication, works well in a team)

• Fast learner and adaptable

• Strong willingness to promote the program

Desired Qualifications (The following qualifications would be an asset):

• Prior experience working with students

• Proven writing and editing experience

• Social media and communications experience

• Written and spoken French
