- Technical nutrition knowledge and abilities obtained in a four (4) year undergraduate degree program or four (4) year undergraduate degree program in dietetics, food and/or nutrition or related sciences that is accredited by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics
- Participate in quality improvement
- Participate in the Nutrition Care Process to screen for nutrition risk, obtain diet history, explain food/drug interactions, plan menus consistent with diet order and develop and implement nutrition intervention(s)
- Perform tasks and complete responsibilities related to food service operations and management
- Experience in food and nutrition service operations is highly desirable
