Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field is required.
  • Two to three years of experience in project administration is required.
  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
  • The employee must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily with little to no guidance.
  • The employee must be comfortable working with internal and external partners and requesting and following up on information until the required data is received.
  • The employee must be able to meet the described physical demands, including significant walking and stair climbing, occasional movement of 10–15 pounds, and visits to docks or vessels.
  • Proper hard hats, safety glasses, and shoes are required while in dry dock; the company supplies them.
Responsibilities
  • Provide project-management support for the revitalization of existing ships.
  • Assist multiple Project Managers with coordinating and administering key functions and documents related to revitalization projects.
  • Administer cabin requests and coordinate vendor logistics.
  • Maintain onboard contractor listings.
  • Update weekly Microsoft Project charts and project dashboards.
  • Prepare periodic reports of activities in each project area.
  • Create reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, and presentations; compile and type statistical reports; coordinate special projects; file documents; process invoices; schedule appointments; greet vendors; and record meeting minutes.
  • Prepare presentation documents for management meetings and status reporting.
  • Distribute drafts, collect information from departments and external suppliers, and collate and organize the information into clear presentations under the guidance of the Project Manager.
  • Collect, organize, distribute, and follow up on project reporting and communication documents, including roles and responsibilities tables, project models and GA posters, risk assessment logs, contact lists, action logs, manning build-up schedules for dry dock, dry-dock manifests, contractor handbooks for dry dock, logistics and shipping tracking and reporting, lessons-learned logs, and project review reports.
  • Prepare weekly project meeting agendas and minutes, including requesting and collating agenda items from project participants.
  • Attend dry docks with the project team and provide planning and administrative support to the project team and contractors while in dry dock.
  • Assist in maintaining and supporting access to the department's web-based document management system, NDOCS.
  • Provide assistance with special projects and assignments as directed by the Project Manager.
  • Perform other job-related duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
  • Travel to other office locations and domestic or international locations as required.

Royal Caribbean completes $1.25B bond offering to refinance debt

Royal Caribbean Group has completed a registered public offering of $1.25 billion in senior unsecured notes due 2034. The notes, which carry a 5.550% interest rate, will mature on 20 January 2034 unless redeemed earlier. The cruise operator plans to use the net proceeds primarily to repay part of its outstanding floating rate term loan facilities. Any remaining funds will go towards repaying or refinancing other existing debt. BNP Paribas Securities Corp., BofA Securities, Inc., and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. served as lead book-running managers for the offering. The notes were sold pursuant to an automatic shelf registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on 29 February 2024. Royal Caribbean Group operates 71 ships across three wholly owned brands.
