Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in MRI technology.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, or willingness to complete formal education in this area within a designated time period.
  • Graduation from an approved school of Radiologic Technology or MRI Technology.
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and MRI Technology.
  • Successful completion of an intravenous certification class approved by the institution within the 12-week probationary period.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all age levels served within the scope of the position and assigned areas.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to workplace health and safety, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of duties related to MRI under the supervision of the Lead MRI Technologist and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Perform MRI procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients' illnesses and injuries.
  • Provide care and ensure the safety of patients undergoing MRI procedures and use of MRI equipment.
  • Work the evening schedule of 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a weekend component.
Desired Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI equipment.
  • Experience with PACS.
