Requirements
  • 5+ years of Accounting experience distribution or manufacturing industry preferred
  • Advanced skills with Excel applications (PIVOTs, SUMIFs, VLOOKUPs, macros)
  • Accounting ERP experience (preferably Netsuite)
  • Must demonstrate strong strategic, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Driven, able to balance multiple priorities. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Tech savvy

Responsibilities
  • Lead the accounting team with daily accounting operations, including cash management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and accruals
  • Participate in month-end close and reporting to Crunchyroll, including preparation and/or review of journal entries, account reconciliations and financial reporting deliverables and flux analyses
  • Supervise and mentor an accounting staff of 4
  • Coordinate with Sony in regards to state and local tax filings, research and resolve discrepancies and tax notices
  • Ensure execution of appropriate accounting treatment on complex accounting issues in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS
  • Possess a deep understanding of ERP systems and related sub-modules, including inventory management and reporting
  • Understand business activities and objectives and make recommendations and changes to improve and support scalability in the team organization, business systems and processes
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a strong internal control environment and regularly monitor and assess risks associated with current and new processes
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives
