Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a quantitative discipline
Cumulative GPA 3.0 or higher
At least one year of experience or academic course work using Python, SQL, R, or other programming languages for data analysis
Familiar with data visualization and dashboarding tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
Exposure to statistics and/or AI/ML models
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must live within commutable distance from Honolulu, HI and work a hybrid schedule

Create visualizations/reports in Tableau and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Perform data validation and document discrepancies for the engineering team
Support the development of AI/ML models for lead scoring, pricing strategies, and process improvement

The Role:

As a Data Science Intern, you will work closely with our product and data team to provide insights that drive decision-making and strategy. You will dive deep into data, using advanced programming techniques to collect, process, and analyze information from a variety of sources, including customer feedback, online behavior, market trends, and operational efficiency metrics.

This internship is an excellent opportunity to apply your coursework in a fast-paced startup environment where your contributions will not only influence strategic decisions but also help shape the culture of data-driven excellence within the company.

20 hours per week for 3-4 months
Potential full-time offer after evaluation
Location: Hawaii on-site

Internship duties scope:

Create visualizations/reports in Tableau and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

What you Bring to the Table:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in a quantitative discipline (MIS, Econ, STEM, etc.) with less than one year left to graduation
Cumulative GPA 3.0 or higher
At least one year of experience or academic course work using Python, SQL, R, or other programming languages for data analysis
Familiar with data visualization and dashboarding tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
Exposure to statistics and/or AI/ML models
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must live within commutable distance from Honolulu, HI and work a hybrid schedule
