What You Will Contribute:
 

The Badger Meter Internship Program provides hands-on, real-world experience to students through projects that make a difference! In addition to your projects, you will be given the opportunity to participate in our robust Intern program focused on Badger Meter Culture, professional development, community outreach and a final capstone project.

Badger Meter is hiring a Customer Care Intern at our Global Headquarters in Milwaukee. The Customer Care Intern will assist the customer care team in improving the customer experience by supporting timely and accurate response to a variety customer inquiries and by helping improve system processes.  Daily activities will include interacting with customers via email and phone, processing and resolving customer inquiries using a variety of systems and software, and collaborating with other functional groups and facilities to support the customers.  The Customer Care Intern will also support and lead various improvement projects based on satisfaction survey feedback.

Essential Job Duties:

• Process customer inquiries using Salesforce case management
• Prepare customer quotations and orders, and support quality control checking
• Provide order status follow up and other customer feedback requests
• Support product returns processing and process improvement opportunities
• Provide contact center/phone support for basic customer inquiries
• Validate onboarding and training procedure effectiveness
• Analyze customer satisfaction (CSAT) survey feedback and recommend improvement actions
• Generate scorecard performance metrics and analysis

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
• Intermediate computer/technical skills in Microsoft products
• Salesforce CRM and Oracle CPQ software experience preferred
