Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 3 years of relevant experience in a Lead / Supervisory or Management level role and/or healthcare experience.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of all operations within the work area, including management of staff, operational processes, and programmatic services; this is a working supervision position that includes interviewing patients and/or their family members, accurate insurance coding, problem solving operational issues, and maintaining accurate census; coordinates the registration process from pre-registration to patients’ arrival at the point of care, emphasizing quality service and customer satisfaction.
Desired Qualifications
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred in a healthcare setting, existing revenue cycle department or customer service role; experience with Windows, Excel, and Intranet/internet navigation tools as well as system content; medical terminology, coding and third-party reimbursement experience; ability to work in multiple systems for assigned tasks, management and reporting; strong problem-solving and presentation skills; high level of customer service skills; able to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks in a busy environment.
