Maravai LifeSciences cuts debt to $150M and extends maturity to 2032

Maravai LifeSciences has refinanced its credit agreement, securing a $150 million term loan facility and a $30 million revolving credit facility. The life science reagents provider used the new term loan borrowings and approximately $98.5 million in cash to prepay its existing credit agreement due in October 2027. The transaction reduces Maravai's long-term debt from $242.9 million to $150 million and extends the maturity date to June 2032. Chief Financial Officer Raj Asarpota said the refinancing strengthens the company's financial foundation whilst preserving capital access for strategic priorities and growth initiatives. Maravai provides critical products for drug therapy development, diagnostics and vaccine research, serving major biopharmaceutical, vaccine and cell and gene therapy companies globally.
