What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):

• Leverage the Acquisition Management System’s (AMS) Procurement Management Tool (PMT) in combination with Navy ERP to support planning, execution and management of procurement workflow activities
• Apply Federal DoD, Department of the Navy guidelines, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and its supplements.
• Apply cost accounting standards and accounting practices to review and draw accurate conclusions on contract provisions.
• Provide planning, execution, monitoring and control management, including schedule and cost control, risk management, and stakeholder management support
• Foster a culture of mutual support within Team Spry across our Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) efforts, ensuring transparent communication and collaboration to better serve our customers and each other

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):

• 3-5 years of experience (Federal, or DoD Procurement, or Acquisition experience preferred).
• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Education:  Bachelor’s degree

Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience working with NIWC Atlantic or DoD environment
• Exposure to the PMT module in AMS and Navy ERP
