  • Bachelor’s Degree (technical or engineering degree preferred)
  • 8+ years of Specification Sales or Specification experience
  • Self-starter, driven, and motivated individual who would thrive in both technical and sales roles
  • Passion for Sales, working with the design community, and understanding the construction sales cycle
  • Demonstrated ability to learn technical product features and explain benefits
  • Experience solving complex problems within a team environment
  • Prior architectural product or EVSE design experience preferred
  • Must have a collaborative mentality, and a desire to work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Drive specification sales across new construction, renovation projects and large retail accounts
  • Develop and onboard Manufacturer’s Rep Agencies for the representation of our product
  • Identify top Spec writers across the country and develop a plan to engage in training/informational events to increase their ChargePoint product knowledge
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities via outreach & enablement of AEC firms
  • Align with existing ChargePoint sales teams (regional AEs, Channel Verticals, Distribution, Partners, etc.) through technical expertise and a high level of customer service
  • Represent ChargePoint at Industry trade organizations and networking events
  • Become a technical expert on ChargePoint products (SW & HW features & benefits) for our specification customers, end-users, and trade partners
  • Utilize Dodge and other platforms to identify and engage major players in the construction industry.
  • Create and Deliver CEU courses for Architect and Engineer roles
