Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health, Finance or related field. Extensive experience may substitute for education
  • Ten (10) years' progressive experience in healthcare management in a Revenue Cycle or Financial Leadership role
  • High energy, with the capacity to successfully manage many projects and responsibilities
  • Team builder with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Thought leader with deep industry knowledge of current healthcare trends, regulations and policies
  • Financial management skills, including the ability to financially analyze data for operations, budgeting, auditing, and forecasting
  • Highly developed communication skills, successfully demonstrated in effectively working with a wide variety of people in both individual and group settings
  • Organizes and manages work to achieve results and tracks performance so that problems are detected early
Responsibilities
  • Drive Strategic planning to deliver scalable, evolving solution to meet developing demands in Revenue Cycle Management
  • Lead day-to-day revenue cycle operations, overseeing the following teams: authorization, eligibility & benefit verification, billing, A/R, denials management and payment posting
  • Drive operational excellence and accountability through a metrics driven culture conducting daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Coordinates efforts amongst cross functional teams including operations, finance, and IT to ensure alignment with RCM goals and metrics
  • Develops long-range strategic plans for systems and processes that support a high performing, patient-centered revenue cycle
  • Lead initiatives to resolve problematic trends and resolve difficult account issues as needed
  • Maintain appropriate internal control safeguards over A/R records and collection of cash and monitor compliance standards for providing accurate information on all system billings
  • Understands and stays abreast of payer requirements and changes in the industry and communicates those changes as well as the financial impact to leadership
  • Drive and manage the development of performance metrics, goal setting and support the development of RCM organizational structure, including the selection, direction and ongoing development of teams fostering a positive work environment
