What you’ll be doing:

Clinical Leadership:

• Lead and oversee clinical operations, ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based care.

• Set the bar for clinical excellence by designing and implementing protocols that blend medical best practice with innovative care models.

• Act as a trusted medical voice across the business - from tech and product development to marketing and growth.

Patient Experience

• Champion a patient-first culture, ensuring every touchpoint feels seamless, digital, and human.

• Partner with tech and product teams to build best-in-class telemedicine and engagement platforms.

• Step into clinical delivery when needed, keeping close to the patient experience and scaling operations sustainably.

Regulatory & Governance

• Stay ahead of GMC, CQC, and medical cannabis regulations, embedding compliance into everything we do.

• Lead on patient safety, incident management, and risk frameworks, making governance a strength rather than a tick-box.

Innovation & Growth

• Work with technology teams to bring new digital health tools and treatments into practice.

• Leverage data and patient insights to evolve services and maximise impact.

• Shape the broader strategy with the exec team, ensuring clinical excellence drives commercial success.

Team Development

• Recruit, mentor, and inspire clinicians who want to do their best work in an innovative environment.

• Build a culture of learning, agility, and clinical integrity.

Strategic Contribution

• Collaborate with the executive team to shape the company’s vision, mission, and growth strategy.

• Analyse data and metrics to evaluate clinical performance and drive decision-making.

• Contribute to market research and product development to expand the company’s reach and impact.

Skills & Qualifications

Essential:

• GMC Registration: Fully licensed GMC-registered doctor in good standing.

• Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience guiding multidisciplinary teams.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with patients, stakeholders, and regulators.

• Flexibility: A proactive and adaptable mindset, capable of thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.

Desirable:

• Proven background in private healthcare/ health tech/ services that scaled quickly with a strong understanding of patient care dynamics.

• Familiarity with direct-to-consumer health tech platforms, including telemedicine or digital health solutions.

• Experience with medical cannabis treatments, patient management, and associated regulations.

• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of medical cannabis, its therapeutic uses, and emerging industry trends is a plus.

• Technology Proficiency: Comfortable working with healthcare technology systems and platforms.

• Highly analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.

What we offer:

• Competitive salary £120,000 - £140,000 FTE (4 days a week and flexible working will be considered)

• 25 days holiday (rising to 27 after one year & 30 after 2 years) + bank holidays
