Oracle ERP Finance Business Analyst

We are looking for an Oracle ERP Finance Business Analyst to join our team to assist in supporting multiple ongoing initiatives for our supply chain and operations systems.
This role will provide consultancy in the Finance area of Oracle, as required. You will also need to be able to interpret client business requirements and map those requirements to Oracle functionality. Update functional specifications and test plans/scripts and test the Finance application using your core knowledge.
This individual will possess strong organizational and troubleshooting skills as well as refined interpersonal verbal and written communication skills – with experience in applying these skills in both technical and non-technical forums. This role will support the implementation and continuous enhancement efforts of the Oracle Fusion platform by working with Business leads, product management, project management, project stakeholders, and technical staff to analyze and build clear requirements, identify gaps and areas of improvement, enhance project documentation, and drive projects from initiation through completion.
Responsibilities
- Working with the business in UK/EU to facilitate support using the internal network of people/skills and working cross departmentally.
- Understanding business needs working within the departments to guide and suggest as well as triage and resolve.
- Engaging with and providing project support on the Oracle projects aligning with cross functional teams to help shape our business systems and processes.
- Knowledge of Finance modules and be able to explain their associated application processes
- Work independently or with other members in the support team providing Finance Functional assistance to our clients.
- Manage your tasks and update and resolve incidents/problems according to the client to Service Levels.
- Act as SME for Oracle Finance function. You will be expected to demonstrate an ability to develop other colleagues.
Required Attributes & Experience
- Three to five years related work experience
- Able to exercise independent judgment and act on it
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Ability to effectively prioritize, organize, execute, and track tasks while under pressure
- Strong customer service orientation
- Oracle Fusion experience across General Ledger, Receivables, Payables, Cash Management, Assets and Cost Management
- Experience working in a global, team-oriented, collaborative environment
Preferred Experience
- College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration or information systems
- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
- Data Migration experience
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Working knowledge of JIRA
- Project management experience
