Our software development team is Capstone’s rocket fuel. We are looking for highly motivated and dynamic individuals who are interested in kick starting their software development career for the inaugural year of our technology rotation program. If you are someone interested in designing and building software components and growing your understanding of data structures and database engines, this may be the job for you!
In this two-year program, you will have the opportunity to work with and rotate through multiple areas of our technology department including risk development, front office development, back office development, financial engineering and data and database engineering.
The development team builds and maintains the firm’s information processing platform and supports trading desks, portfolio management teams, risk management and other support functions throughout the firm. In each of the rotations, you will gain hands on experience working on challenging and meaningful projects and gain exposure to various areas of technology and Capstone’s business.
Capstone will also provide you with training opportunities to help advance your people, leadership and technical skills. Throughout the duration of the program, you will also have a dedicated mentor from the software development team who will help you develop both personally and professionally. Upon successful completion of the program, you will have the opportunity to be selected for a permanent position in one of our global offices.
Desirable Candidates:
- On track to receive an undergraduate degree in May 2022 in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Course work or experience with SQL Server or Sybase, SQL including stored procedures, Java, C++, Python and/or .net
