  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, marketing or related discipline is required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' Sales or Marketing / Product Management / Licensing experience in a selling/negotiation role, consumer goods industry preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the SBD licensing partners to develop successful strategic partnerships across key brands.
  • Identify potential new expansion portfolios and develop prospecting lists with our external Licensing agency. Assist in the on-boarding and signing of new partners.
  • Manage annual licensing royalty budgets and develop plans to exceed the operating plan, tracking monthly.
  • Work closely with the business units (BU’s) to ensure full alignment on key strategies.
  • Leverage opportunities to drive commercial excellence through presenting the brand strength of our core + licensed portfolio offering.
  • Provide insight to continuously improve the licensing process.
  • Lead Licensing partners with the brand and product approval process; working in conjunction with the Legal, Engineering, Industrial Design, and Brand Teams to ensure delivery of best-in-class products that are indistinguishable from core product. This will involve managing licensee portal submissions.
  • Develop 3-year strategic plans with the licensing partners to include product road planning, territory and customer expansion, commercialization planning, digital excellence, and ecommerce sales growth.
  • Conduct business reviews with each partner annually and be fully immersed in their business on a month-to-month basis, supporting their business needs and assisting to execute their growth plans.
  • Negotiate contracts, extensions, amendments, and renewals.
  • Collaborate with the Legal Team to draft contracts and work through approvals / revisions.
  • Work with the Finance Team to track partner financial health and develop and execute plans with the licensing partners to ensure outperformance versus minimum guarantees.
  • Oversee final execution process and update appropriate personnel as required.
