As a Full Stack Software Engineer for web applications, you are responsible for building a cloud-based web application for enterprise drone operations, data visualization and analysis, cloud mission planning, and other tools for the future of enterprise drone applications.
The core web product, the Auterion Suite, is the platform upon which applications and new technologies will be built. You will be building tools for end users, manufacturers, and other engineers to use, manage, and transform the data coming from any drone, anywhere.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop the Auterion Suite using Vue, NodeJS, Typescript, Postgres, and cloud hosting providers, such as Amazon Web Services.
- Build tools for manufacturers to use while building and designing drone hardware.
- Build tools for drone application developers, and data analysis providers to use.
- Build organizational and planning tools for drone program managers and pilots.
- Build and maintain features, improvements, and interface designs to support a wide range of web clients, using the latest web technologies.
- Develop incredible user experience to expedite complex data evaluation and understanding from both a very high and very low level view.
- Interact with the AuterionOS and Mission Control products to manage the communication in and out of the Auterion Suite.
- Be responsible for holding the highest bar for the entire software life cycle, from strategic planning to execution and implementation for customers.
- Manage your day-to-day development activity with git and champion easy-to-read and easy-to-maintain git histories consisting of small, well-commented commits.
- Maintain strong engineering principles with cybersecurity in mind.
- Write clear, documented, and easy to maintain code.
Qualifications and Skills
- Knowledge of fundamental concepts and algorithms from a Computer Science degree (or relevant)
- 3+ years experience working with Vue.js, TypeScript and Node.js
- Experience building APIs and databases to support them
- Experience with AWS and deploying applications to it
- You’re customer-focused and understand that shipping impactful software involves tradeoffs and collaboration.
- Experience with architecture and developing complex, greenfield, mobile/native apps ideally in a lean environment.
- Experience with eslint/tslint, web pack, express, and other JS development tooling (nice to have)
- Experience working with Prisma ORM (nice to have)
- Experience building and debugging complex systems in a team environment.
