Responsibilities
  • Achieve balanced personal sales and service performance by developing new and existing relationships using the customer engagement model.
  • Create a daily individual plan focused on deepening customer relationships and consistently executing service standards and customer retention activities.
  • Partner with the Branch Manager to achieve personal service, sales, and operational goals.
  • Execute and role model Renasant service standards in every customer and teammate interaction.
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns by owning the problem and acting as a liaison between the customer and the bank.
  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and yearly sales and service results.
  • Use in-person and phone interactions to identify additional customer needs and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Maintain effective partnerships with other lines of business to drive more effective and profitable customer relationships.
  • Participate in community activities as a representative of Renasant Bank.
  • Serve as a backup Teller or Head Teller when needed.
  • Obtain and properly complete documentation for solutions to minimize documentation exceptions.
  • Complete account maintenance activities properly.
  • Stay current on regulations, policies, and procedures related to Personal Banker duties and branch operations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • College education is preferred.
  • For Senior Personal Bankers, a minimum of 2 years of successful personal sales experience is preferred for that designation.
  • For Licensed Personal Bankers, current knowledge of non-FDIC-insured solutions, including annuities and life insurance, is required for that designation.

(WDAM) - The Mississippi Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) approved a deal on Thursday morning that will rename M.M. Roberts Stadium, affectionately known as 'The Rock.' The University of Southern Mississippi struck a $13.7 million deal with Renasant Bank in exchange for the namesake. For the next 10 years, 'The Rock' will become 'Renasant Stadium.' The Mississippi IHL said that the university and bank had come to a mutual agreement after evaluating the value of the naming rights. The agreement can be terminated at any time and is active starting Friday, Aug. 21.

Renasant reported second-quarter earnings of $0.94 per share, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.91 per share and marking a 3.30% surprise. This compares to earnings of $0.69 per share a year ago. The company has beaten consensus EPS estimates three times over the last four quarters. However, quarterly revenues of $273.94 million missed the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 0.6%, though this represents an increase from year-ago revenues of $267.19 million. Renasant shares have risen about 23% since the beginning of the year, outperforming the S&P 500's 8.3% gain. Credit quality improved, with nonperforming loans dropping to 0.97% of total loans from 1.06% in the prior quarter. The company repurchased $60.0 million of common stock during the quarter at a weighted average price of $39.54.
