Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrable experience in a client facing role within the financial services or a related industry
  • Preferred: Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and/or International Compliance Association/ICA
  • Knowledge of AML CDD policy and standards, industry practices in AML CDD, including legal entities in global jurisdictions
  • Must demonstrate a strong client focus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for motivation, collaboration and encouragement

Responsibilities
  • Outreach to clients requesting and collecting KYC documentation
  • Serve as the key point of contact for Clients as well as Bankers, Operations, Risk and other internal functions
  • Ensure respective KYC client portfolios are covered across business and regions and adhere to internal governance routines within the FLU and those governed by support partners
  • Monitor and understand the risks and impacts of non-compliance with KYC processes, including restrictions, closures and associated business growth impacts
  • Gather client feedback on policy, requirements and/or jurisdictional nuances where given to help improve the Bank’s processes
  • Raise process issues and improvements that collectively help our clients
  • Partner with colleagues in Banking, Sales, FLU COOs, FLU Change, FLU Business Controls, Operations, and other groups as needed
  • Review clients for appropriate activity and liaise with Bankers on whether relationships with specific entities should continue
  • Support the Outreach of both periodic refreshes as well as remediation and associated programs
  • Support the Outreach of jurisdictionally or regionally stringent requirements where needed
  • Ensure timely collection of client required documentation, including follow ups where needed
  • Ensure voice of the client is heard while adhering to policies, laws, rules and regulations
  • Ensure performance metrics are met, and any exceptions are resolved within required timeframes
  • Master customer due diligence (CDD) requirements and guide clients as needed to comply
  • Support the collection of enhanced customer due diligence (ECDD) requirements and guide clients as needed to comply
  • Adhere to bank privacy policies in securing non-public information obtained as part of KYC activities
  • Embrace a collaborative and output-oriented culture

Fibank raises $350M in Bulgaria's largest international bond placement to date

Fibank has completed the largest international capital market placement by a Bulgarian bank, raising €310 million through two bond issues. The transactions include a €250 million issue to meet minimum own funds and eligible liabilities requirements and a €60 million hybrid capital instrument. The €250 million issue was oversubscribed with a bid-to-cover ratio of 1.5, attracting strong interest from international institutional investors. Both issues are expected to list on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, with Bank of America serving as lead manager. CEO Nikola Bakalov described the placement as recognition of Fibank's sustainable development and Bulgaria's increased credibility following eurozone accession. Fibank ranks fifth in Bulgaria's banking system by assets, with €10.02 billion as of March 2026. The bank is majority-owned by Ivaylo Mutafchiev and Tseko Minev.

Herbalife raises $800M bond to refinance 12.25% debt with 7.75% notes

Herbalife has raised $800 million through a junk-bond sale to refinance existing high-interest debt. The nutrition-focused multilevel-marketing company sold seven-year senior secured notes at a 7.75% yield, led by Bank of America. The proceeds will be used to repay bonds due in 2029 that carry a 12.25% interest rate, significantly reducing Herbalife's borrowing costs. The successful offering comes a month after the company shelved a loan offering due to market volatility, taking advantage of a recent rebound in investor demand for risky debt.

Bank of America reports earnings Wednesday, revenue expected to rise 5.8% year on year

Bank of America will report earnings on Wednesday before market open. Last quarter, the company beat revenue expectations with $28.55 billion, up 7.1% year-on-year, though it only narrowly exceeded earnings per share estimates.
