  • High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of experience
  • The ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • The ability to work all three work shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail to identify defects and ensure quality
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required
  • Requires minimum Level II certifications in major non-destructive testing method (RT/UT/PT) in accordance with regulations
  • Certifications in NDT methods such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT) II, Radiographic Testing (RT) II, and in Eddy Current Testing (ET) II
  • Relevant work experience in NDT, preferably in the defense industry or similar capacities
  • Proficiency in various NDT techniques and equipment, ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, and knowledge and safety protocols
Responsibilities
  • Performs non-destructive tests (NDT) on aircraft and other aerospace components and parts.
  • Inspects metallic and nonmetallic materials, parts and assemblies for defects using automated and manual methods and techniques including radiography, ultrasound, penetrant, eddy current, and magnetic particle.
