Installation Technology Engineer

Amentum is now hiring for a Installation Technology Engineer (All Levels) – CSIA positions in support of the Cyber Security & Information Assurance (CSIA) Support Services office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Ft Belvoir, VA. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment CSIA core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of CSIA and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within CSIA.

The candidate will work closely with the client to perform the following:

• Configures, implements, analyzes and supports servers, workstations, network devices and peripheral equipment.
• Establishes and enforces standards and guidelines for the design of information technology solutions.
• Monitors network and system performance to ensure that operations are within established standards and develops recommendations for enhancements to improve operations and increase system capabilities.
• Performs hardware and software upgrades to ensure all systems are up-to-date.
• Tests system updates and patches as well as application rollouts and troubleshoots issues.
• Administers user accounts, permissions, and passwords and ensures users can securely access data.
• Provides help desk support and specialized technical assistance to system users, escalating issues as necessary.
• Develops and presents equipment and policy training to staff and end users.
• Creates and maintains documentation of processes, policies, and systems.
• Researches and evaluates new technology, techniques, threats and industry best practices to optimize efficiency and usability and minimize vulnerabilities.
• Has experience in Creating plans and approaches for executing product installation.
• Has extensive experience in working with site managers in execution of installations.
• Has experience installing a variety of IT systems, networks, hardware and software in a variety of complex and simple installation sites.
• Able to identify potential risks, create strategies for mitigating risks.
• Oversees all aspects on an IT deployment ensuring full commissioning is completed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is required.
• 1-10+ years’ experience.
• 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
• Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance. 

Compensation:

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $65,000 - $225,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).
