Requirements
  • One to five years of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in athletic training or a related field.
  • Board of Certification certification and Georgia state licensure as an athletic trainer.
  • CPR/AED certification for healthcare providers.
  • Strong skills in injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must pass a background check.
Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site athletic training services to student-athletes.
  • Develop and execute injury prevention and rehabilitation programs.
  • Evaluate and manage injuries, illnesses, and conditions related to sports participation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, coaches, and school staff.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure healthcare compliance.
  • Educate and mentor student athletic trainers.
  • Promote total athlete wellness and readiness.
