Your Team, Your Impact
This Field Applications Engineering (FAE) team supports the Custom Compute and Storage Business Unit (CCS). CCS targets a wide variety of OEM networking, storage equipment, and data center AI solutions, including routers, unified threat management (UTM) appliances, content-aware switches, application-aware gateways, triple-play gateways, WLAN, and 3G/4G/5G access and aggregation devices, storage arrays, storage networking equipment, server, and automotive components. Marvell DPU processors are the heartbeat of the network from edge to core.
What You Can Expect
- Work alongside field application engineers to support customers in both pre-sales and post-sales
- Present product overviews and technology demos
- Support customer HW/SW evaluations
- Schematic and layout review of customer HW design
- Lab support for customer HW and SW bring-up
- Collaborate with BU on training and collateral development
What We’re Looking For
- Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an anticipated graduation date of Winter 2025 - Spring 2026
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Programming skills in C and scripting
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with HW and SW debug
- Experience with interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, DDR3/4/5, etc.
- Experience with Linux internals and multi-core embedded processors
- Experience with networking protocols, security, open standards (DPDK, ODP, VPP, OVS, etc.)
Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
22 - 43, $ per hour.
The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
