Requirements
  • BA/BS in Business, Human Resources, or related field from four-year College or University or equivalent, and 3 years of progressive experience in benefits administration, human resources, analytics or related role
  • Proficient computer skills, including comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated experience with HRIS systems
  • Strong analytical skills, an attention to detail, and can collaborate effectively across the organization
  • Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective, cooperative, and diplomatic working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, external contacts with funding sources, and the public
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to details and strong organizational skills essential
Responsibilities
  • Perform regular reconciliation of benefits data, ensuring that employee enrollments, changes, and terminations are accurately reflected in HCM benefits system, payroll records, and vendor systems
  • Work closely with payroll and finance departments to ensure that benefits deductions, contributions, and adjustments are correctly processed and aligned with employee pay cycles
  • Conduct audits of benefits enrollments, deductions, and payments to ensure compliance with plan documents, regulations, and company policies
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between benefits data, payroll deductions, and vendor invoicing, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of issues
  • Generate and analyze reports related to benefits expenses, enrollments, and reconciliations to support decision-making by the HR and finance teams
  • Ensure the accurate maintenance of retirement plan data, including employee contributions, eligibility, vesting schedules, and enrollment status
  • Generate and analyze retirement plan reports for internal stakeholders, regulatory filings, and plan audits
  • Collaborate with retirement plan vendors or administrators to ensure accurate data transmission, resolve discrepancies, and manage employee inquiries regarding retirement plan details, contributions, or account balances
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in working for a nonprofit organization preferred
