Senior Accountant I is responsible for performing month-end close journal entries, reconciliations and analytics, assisting with preparation of financial statements and reports for the US and Foreign entities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position reports to Sr. Managing Accountant.

What You Will Do

You will have an opportunity to serve as a key contributor to the corporate accounting team and strengthen your understanding of both operational and technical accounting processes.
Be responsible for accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures and prepare and analyze financial statements.
Analyze actual results and provide variance analysis.
Prepare and review month-end close journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and analytics over significant account balances.
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
Assist with annual audits, tax schedules, and special projects as needed.
Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with US GAAP and company accounting policies/procedures.
Explores the modification and implementation of changes in key systems and procedures.
Research complex questions, investigate their impact, and make recommendations for implementation.
Work on infrastructure development projects in Oracle, Salesforce, and other systems.

What You Will Need

Bachelor’s degree in accounting
5+ years of experience in public accounting and/or relevant corporate accounting experience in large or high-growth companies.
CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required.
Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Enthusiastic, self-starter who is highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Must be able to manage competing priorities and adapt to change and uncertainty.
Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with virtual teams.
Advanced skills in Excel, including Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and accounting software (i.e. Oracle ERP) systems.

What We Offer

The base salary range for this position is $80K to $90K. Offered salary will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Business Wire reserves the right to modify this salary range at any time.
