Job Description:
As an Analog Design Engineer at ADI, you will take on greater responsibilities in designing and developing complex analog and mixed-signal ICs. You will lead the development of precision circuits, including power ICs, signal chains, and data converters, ensuring high performance across various environmental conditions. Your work will include advanced simulation and layout design, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and ensure products meet customer requirements.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to more complex projects, applying your expertise in analog circuit design to bring innovative products to market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of advanced analog circuits, including signal chains, power ICs, and data converters.
- Conduct advanced circuit simulations and optimizations using SPICE and Cadence.
- Collaborate with layout teams to develop high-performance, manufacturable IC layouts.
- Lead product validation efforts to ensure compliance with performance and reliability standards.
- Troubleshoot complex design challenges and ensure designs meet process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) variations.
Skills You Will Need to be Successful:
- Analog Circuits Design: Ability to design analog circuits such as amplifiers and filters, ensuring reliable and efficient circuit performance.
- Mixed-Signal IC Design: Proficiency in integrating both analog and digital components on a single chip for high-performance mixed-signal ICs.
- Simulation Modeling: Experience in using SPICE and Cadence to model and predict complex circuit behavior.
- Integrated Circuit Layout: Ability to optimize IC layouts to enhance performance and manufacturability.
- CMOS Design: Advanced knowledge in CMOS design to ensure high-performance, power-efficient circuits.
- Analog to Digital Conversion: Proficiency in designing ADCs to ensure precise conversion of analog signals to digital data.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in analog or mixed-signal IC design.
- Proficiency in simulation tools and hands-on experience with lab equipment like oscilloscopes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
