Requirements
  • At least 12 years of presales experience selling complex, technical products, or at least 12 years of professional experience supporting technical products with customer-facing experience, particularly in delivery or consulting.
  • Ability to communicate and present effectively, gain audience confidence, and communicate product return on investment across varied customer use cases.
  • Ability to understand customers’ communications needs deeply and guide them to technical solutions.
  • Previous experience with customer engagement and supporting products and technologies, including communicating product return on investment across varied customer use cases.
  • Exceptional technical proficiency and thought leadership, with active contributions to team strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Account Executives and Partner Account Managers on presales activities including opportunity qualification, demonstrations, proof of concept, requests for proposal, design documentation, technical presentations, and enablement sessions.
  • Lead the technical and product sale by recommending best-practice solutions and guiding customers on how to use Twilio application programming interfaces.
  • Build trusted-advisor relationships with customers’ senior leadership teams by discovering technical pain points and designing, demonstrating, and presenting solutions to business challenges.
  • Build and present highly interactive, complex customer demonstrations showcasing Twilio Communications Products to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Identify team or organizational needs, document and evaluate their criticality, and propose implementation strategies.
  • Contribute to the Twilio Presales Engineering community through knowledge sharing, demonstration materials, and reusable presentations.
  • Mentor less experienced Presales Engineers and facilitate or lead teams.
  • Present at Twilio-sponsored, industry, and internal events.

Twilio's Q2 revenue jumps 22% to $1.5B, stock surges 15.7%
