Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant management, accounting, or finance, preferably in a non-profit organization.
  • Strong knowledge of federal grant regulations and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate invoices and financial reports to grantors.
  • Monitor and track expenses against grant budgets to ensure compliance with grant agreements.
  • Reconcile grant-related accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain systems for tracking and reporting on grant expenditures.
  • Collaborate with program managers to ensure proper allocation and use of grant funds.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts for grant-funded programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as specific grantor requirements.
  • Prepare for and coordinate grant audits, including providing necessary documentation and responses to auditors.
  • Develop and update internal policies and procedures to maintain compliance and improve efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all grant billing-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide training and support to program managers and other staff on grant billing and financial reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all grant-related financial activities.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports for senior management and the Board of Directors.
