A reputable non-profit is seeking a Grant Billing Manager to join their fantastic team. The Grant Billing Manager oversees the billing and financial reporting of grant-funded projects, ensuring compliance with grant terms and optimizing fund utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Grant Billing and Reporting
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate invoices and financial reports to grantors.
- Monitor and track expenses against grant budgets to ensure compliance with grant agreements.
- Reconcile grant-related accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Financial Management
- Develop and maintain systems for tracking and reporting on grant expenditures.
- Collaborate with program managers to ensure proper allocation and use of grant funds.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts for grant-funded programs.
- Compliance and Auditing
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as specific grantor requirements.
- Prepare for and coordinate grant audits, including providing necessary documentation and responses to auditors.
- Develop and update internal policies and procedures to maintain compliance and improve efficiency.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all grant billing-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide training and support to program managers and other staff on grant billing and financial reporting requirements.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Data Management and Analysis
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all grant-related financial activities.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Generate regular reports for senior management and the Board of Directors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant management, accounting, or finance, preferably in a non-profit organization.
- Strong knowledge of federal grant regulations and compliance requirements.
