AIT Worldwide Logistics' real-time global purchase order management platform delivers end-to-end shipment control, visibility.

AIT Worldwide Logistics' real-time global purchase order management platform delivers end-to-end shipment control, visibility. Published on: May 19, 2026 Online platform enables multi-modal direct booking, predictive delivery insights. ITASCA, Ill. (May 19, 2026) - Supply chain solutions leader AIT Worldwide Logistics has launched a new global purchase order (PO) management platform, expanding its suite of solutions designed to give customers greater control and visibility from order placement through final delivery. Built to support the operational realities of retailers, manufacturers and importers managing high volumes of global POs, the platform is equally valuable for any customer seeking to mitigate risk, improve planning accuracy, reduce freight spend, and align teams around a centralized view of PO and shipment data. The platform is powered by the latest technology from Infor Nexus(Opens in a new window), the world's largest single-instance, multi-enterprise business network for global supply chain management. AIT's premium user interface is a vastly enhanced dashboard that displays up-to-the-minute shipment milestones, item-level data, and predictive delivery insights via a unified real-time platform. That means customers can manage their POs across sea, air, rail, and road shipments - including those handled by third-party service providers, whether AIT is managing the transportation or not. The platform's multi-enterprise network also enables suppliers to submit bookings directly, helping maintain accurate, up-to-date PO data, while reducing manual processes and communication gaps. With item-level track and trace, predictive arrival times, and automated exception alerts, AIT's customers gain the visibility needed to address disruptions before they escalate. "This tool allows us to reduce risk and uncertainty for our customers across increasingly complex global supply chains," said AIT's Chief Information Officer, Ann Nemphos. "For retailers, manufacturers and importers juggling multiple supplier networks and tight delivery windows, visibility is critical. At the same time, the platform is flexible enough to support any customer that wants to make faster decisions with confidence." Key capabilities include supplier compliance tracking, item-level fulfillment visibility, container utilization, key performance indicators (KPIs), centralized document management, and vendor performance scorecards. An exception dashboard with standardized reason codes helps quickly identify and prioritize issues, while automated workflows support booking, documentation and custom business processes. AIT also provides customers with collaborative onboarding to help connect suppliers, carriers, and data feeds without requiring significant information technology resources. And with flexible configuration, dashboards can be customized to feature the unique KPIs and exceptions that matter most to a customer's organization. Available worldwide, the global PO management platform supports a broad range of businesses, including those in the aerospace, energy, high-tech, home delivery, life sciences, and marine industries. Gain real-time control over global purchase orders.

AIT Worldwide Logistics Announces Strategic Partnership With Greenbriar Equity Group

AIT Worldwide Logistics announces strategic partnership with Greenbriar Equity Group. AIT Worldwide Logistics Agreement supports continuity, accelerating next phase of AIT's growth plan ITASCA, Ill.-BUSINESS WIRE- Supply chain solutions leader AIT Worldwide Logistics ("AIT") has entered into a definitive agreement to partner with Greenbriar Equity Group, L.P. ("Greenbriar") in support of the global freight forwarder's next chapter of growth. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed. AIT Worldwide Logistics' strategic partnership with Greenbriar Equity Group represents one of the largest private acquisitions ever in the global freight forwarding sector. The deal marks the culmination of five successful years with The Jordan Company, L.P. ("TJC"). TJC, alongside key members of AIT's executive leadership team, will remain invested in the company. Over the course of the company's relationship with TJC, AIT has dramatically expanded its global footprint, acquired 14 businesses, and increased its gross revenue by more than 300%. The agreement with Greenbriar, a Greenwich, Connecticut-based specialist investor focused on partnering with and growing market-leading companies, coincides with the initial stages of AIT's plan to achieve its cultural, financial, and quality goals by 2030. Greenbriar's investment and TJC's continuing involvement enable an accelerated growth trajectory for AIT - both organically and via acquisition - as detailed by its long-term strategy. According to AIT's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Vaughn Moore, the deal represents one of the largest private acquisitions ever in the global freight forwarding sector. "AIT is entering a new era with Greenbriar as the company continues to strive toward our vision to become the global logistics provider respected for delivering a world-class experience," Moore said. "With Greenbriar's support, AIT gains momentum to pursue new expansion in key global markets, including investments in talent and technology, while continuing to deliver customized supply chain solutions that meet and exceed the needs of our customers. We are still a privately held company, maintaining independence, brand identity, and continuity delivered by our proven, experienced leadership team." Greenbriar's $15+ billion in cumulative capital commitments, coupled with more than 25 years of investing in transportation and logistics firms, make it an ideal partner for AIT as the company advances its growth strategy in pursuit of its 2030 objectives. "AIT has built an exceptional global platform defined by strong leadership, operational excellence, and a deeply embedded service culture," said Greenbriar Managing Director, Michael Wang. "As global supply chains continue to evolve in complexity, we believe AIT is uniquely positioned to meet increasing demand for integrated logistics solutions across technology, life sciences, and other specialized sectors. Our goal is to support AIT's long-term growth, while preserving the entrepreneurial spirit and operational discipline that have defined the company's success. We are excited to partner with Vaughn and the entire leadership team as AIT enters its next phase of expansion." The closing of the transaction is expected to be completed before the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and other regulatory approvals. Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC acted as lead financial advisor and Harris Williams LLC also acted as financial advisor to AIT on the transaction. Womble Bond Dickinson LLP provided legal representation for AIT's executive management team. Goldman Sachs & Co.
