Amca acquires Aerospace Control Products to expand hydraulic components focus

Amca, a Los Angeles-based aerospace and defence company, has acquired Aerospace Control Products (ACPI) of Davenport, Iowa, expanding its capabilities in hydraulic components and custom pressure measurement. Financial terms were not disclosed. Founded in 1979, ACPI manufactures flight-critical pressure and liquid-level switches for high-volume aircraft including the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737MAX. The company has built a 46-year reputation for reliability in aerospace-grade pressure switches. Amca plans significant investment in ACPI's manufacturing footprint to address procurement challenges and develop new products. The acquisition adds to Amca's strategy of acquiring legacy aerospace suppliers and equipping them with rapid design, qualification and AS9100-certified manufacturing capabilities. Shedd Capital advised on the transaction.
