apexanalytix appoints Peter Torrellas CEO to lead next phase of ai-driven growth.

apexanalytix appoints Peter Torrellas CEO to lead next phase of ai-driven growth. June 25, 2026 apexanalytix has named technology executive Peter Torrellas as Chief Executive Officer, effective June 22, succeeding longtime CEO Steve Yurko, who is retiring after more than two decades leading the supply chain technology company. Yurko will remain on the apexanalytix Board of Directors and work with Torrellas during the leadership transition to support continuity for customers, employees and business partners. The executive transition comes as apexanalytix continues expanding its AI-native platform for supplier risk management, fraud prevention and profit recovery. The company serves more than 400 large enterprises worldwide and says its platform helps protect more than $10 trillion in annual supplier spend. "Leading apexanalytix has been a true blessing," Yurko said. "Our team in partnership with our customers built something genuinely rare: a company with the technical depth to solve problems no one else could, and the Fortune 1000 customer outcomes to prove it. Peter's experience leading technology-driven businesses at global scale, combined with his product orientation and deep expertise in digital transformation and artificial intelligence, makes him the right leader to guide apexanalytix through its next chapter." Torrellas brings more than 30 years of experience leading technology, software and digital infrastructure businesses. Most recently, he served as President of Cubic Transportation Systems. Before that, he spent nearly two decades at Siemens, where he held a series of executive leadership positions focused on technology, smart infrastructure and digital innovation. Throughout his career, Torrellas has led product development, engineering organizations and business transformation initiatives while overseeing the growth of global technology businesses. "What attracted me to apexanalytix is the combination of a market-leading platform, extraordinary data assets, and a clear opportunity to help customers harness AI to drive better business outcomes," Torrellas said. "The company has established a differentiated position in a large and growing market, and I am excited to build on the strong foundation Steve and the team have created." He said the company will continue investing in its workforce, product portfolio, artificial intelligence capabilities and proprietary data assets to help customers improve decision-making, reduce supplier risk and strengthen business performance. During Yurko's tenure, apexanalytix expanded from its origins in recovery audit services into a broader provider of supplier information management, supplier risk monitoring, fraud prevention and financial recovery solutions. The company has grown primarily through organic expansion, broadening its customer base while adding new capabilities to its technology platform. A significant part of that growth has been supported by investments in artificial intelligence and supplier intelligence. The company's platform integrates more than 1,200 global data sources and maintains a database of more than 280 million company records to automate supplier onboarding, monitor compliance and identify operational and financial risks across the supplier lifecycle. KKR acquired a majority stake in apexanalytix in 2022 through its North America Fund XIII and has continued supporting investments in product development, AI capabilities and international expansion. "Peter's experience scaling technology businesses makes him exceptionally well positioned to lead apexanalytix through its next phase of growth," said Webster Chua, board chair of apexanalytix and partner at KKR. "Building on the strong foundation that Steve and the team have created, we are confident Peter's leadership will accelerate product innovation and unlock new opportunities for our customers, employees, and stakeholders." The leadership transition comes as organizations place greater emphasis on supplier risk management, operational resilience and AI-driven automation across procurement and finance functions. As companies manage increasingly complex global supply chains, demand continues to grow for platforms that combine data, automation and analytics to improve supplier visibility and reduce financial and operational risk. With Torrellas assuming leadership, apexanalytix is positioning itself to build on its established enterprise customer base while continuing to expand its AI-enabled supplier risk and recovery platform in a market where organizations are increasingly seeking automated tools to strengthen supply chain operations and financial controls.

Our clients run some of the most complex operations in the world, and they need technology enabled solutions that directly protect both those operations and their bottom line, making human intervention the exception rather than the rule. "Clients' trust is not given lightly, and we do not take it for granted. That is what drives our AI investment.
