Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Apollo Insurance Solutions Ltd., a Vancouver-based digital insurance broker and managing general agency specialising in tenant insurance across Canada. Financial terms were not disclosed. Apollo operates a proprietary platform using AI to streamline the insurance placement process. Founder Jeff McCann and his team will continue operating from their current location under Dave Partington, head of Gallagher's retail property/casualty brokerage operations in Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. "Apollo's digital platform and talented team will strengthen our capabilities in Canada and expand our ability to deliver innovative insurance solutions," said J. Patrick Gallagher, Jr., chairman and chief executive officer. Gallagher provides insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting services in approximately 130 countries worldwide.

Yardi has expanded its RentCafe Renter Essentials service in Canada through a partnership with APOLLO Insurance Solutions, integrating tenant insurance directly into the RentCafe leasing workflow. The integration allows residents to upload proof of insurance or purchase a policy without leaving the platform, whilst property managers gain real-time compliance visibility within their Yardi dashboard. The service is available to all RentCafe users in Canada on Yardi Voyager. Residents can manage insurance requirements seamlessly, whilst property managers benefit from centralised tracking, improved risk management and streamlined leasing operations.
