Aalo Atomics Raises $27M for Small Reactors

Aalo Atomics has raised $27 million in a Series A funding round to advance its development of small nuclear reactors. This funding will help scale production in gigafactories, aiming for low-cost, sustainable clean energy. The company has grown rapidly, expanding its team from 2 to 15 and completing the conceptual design of its first commercial reactor, Aalo-1. Aalo has also signed an MOU with the DOE for an experimental reactor at Idaho National Laboratory and submitted a Regulatory Engagement Plan to the NRC.
