Aberdeen Group's operating profit jumps 21% to $191.8M as Interactive Investor gains 525K customers

Aberdeen Group reported adjusted operating profit rose 21% to £151 million for the first half of 2026, with net capital generation up 47% to £163 million. Interactive Investor, a key business unit, added customers at a 14% year-on-year pace to reach 525,000. The platform recorded record net inflows of £6.8 billion, pushing assets under administration up 15% to £108 billion. Revenue from the unit increased 22% to £173 million. The Advisor segment struggled with net outflows of £1.3 billion despite assets under administration growing 5% to £85 billion. The company acknowledged the flow turnaround would take longer than expected. Investment assets under management rose 2% to £398 billion, with adjusted operating profit up 9% to £38 million. The firm maintained its interim dividend at 7.3p per share and increased total capital coverage to 229%.
