AdvancedMD

Cloud-based practice management, EHR, and RCM

Overview

AdvancedMD provides cloud-based software for independent medical practices, offering an integrated platform that combines practice management, EHR, and patient engagement tools. It operates as a SaaS with per-provider monthly pricing and an optional revenue cycle management service; the unified platform includes scheduling, billing, charting, e-prescribing, telemedicine, patient portal, and analytics, automating administrative tasks and optimizing claims through scrubbing. It differentiates itself with an à la carte pricing model to tailor features for larger practices and uses AI to automate clinical documentation. Its goal is to help independent physician practices run more efficiently, cut manual data entry, improve financial performance, and expand access to telemedicine and patient engagement.

Insight Health joins AdvancedMD Marketplace to bring clinical AI agents to thousands of independent practices. Insight Health's platform joins AdvancedMD's Marketplace network, automating referral and fax processing, intake, and scheduling to cut through healthcare's paperwork backlog NEW YORK-(BUSINESS WIRE)-Insight Health, the clinical agent platform for healthcare, today announced it has joined the AdvancedMD Marketplace, making its suite of AI-powered clinical agents available to thousands of independent practices, multi-specialty groups, and medical billing companies on the AdvancedMD platform to reduce healthcare's mounting administrative burden by automating front-office and documentation workflows. The integration enables AdvancedMD Marketplace partners, in an exclusive partnership, to access Insight Health's platform for front-office and documentation automation within administrative workflows such as referral and fax intake, document classification, prior authorization, and scheduling, eliminating the administrative drag that costs clinicians time, money, and patients. The administrative burden on independent practices has reached a breaking point. Healthcare administrative overhead now exceeds $1 trillion annually in the U.S., and doctors spend approximately one-third of their time on administrative work, which is time taken directly from patients. New research from the Medical Group Management Association found that more than half (59%) of healthcare practices receive 300+ inbound calls every day, which is more than most front office teams can handle alone. For independent practices running lean teams, this administrative toll can mean high turnover in front-desk and administrative staff, delayed referrals, documentation that follows providers home, and a patient access problem that compounds every year. Insight Health's agents help providers save more than two hours per day on documentation, enabling practices to see four to five additional patients per week and complete notes before anyone leaves the building. "Independent practices are carrying more administrative work than ever, and that burden falls hardest on the front desk and the providers," said Jaimal Soni, co-founder and CEO of Insight Health. "By bringing Insight Health's clinical AI agents to the AdvancedMD Marketplace, we are giving thousands of practices a way to automate the faxes, referrals, and documentation piling up in their inboxes, along with the phone calls and intake that slow them down, so their teams can spend more time on patients and less on paperwork." AdvancedMD is a leading software platform purpose-built for independent medical practices, multi-specialty groups, and medical billing companies. Its marketplace gives practices a curated set of integrations that extend the platform's capabilities. "Our mission is to empower healthcare professionals to realize their full potential, and that means giving our practices access to the best AI-enabled solutions in the market," said David Wilson, vice president of business development at AdvancedMD. "Insight Health's clinical AI agents extend the power of AdvancedMD by automating front-office and documentation workflows, helping our independent practices run more efficiently while keeping the focus on patient care." Insight Health partners with healthcare clinics like The Oregon Clinic, Pacific Sports & Spine, Inland Neurosurgery, Coastal Health, and Santiam Hospital to help administrative teams save hundreds of thousands of hours each month, reducing annual administrative costs by more than $50 million collectively. Insight Health has completed more than 3 million autonomous clinical conversations with patients across all touchpoints. Insight Health's clinical agents are available now on the AdvancedMD Marketplace. For more information, visit insighthealth.ai or https://www.advancedmd.com/partner-marketplace/. Ultimately, my job is to remove friction from the onboarding process, ensuring its customers get measurable value from its unified EHR, practice management, and patient engagement platform as quickly as possible. As a new addition to the AdvancedMD leadership team, what was the deciding factor to join the company? Honestly, it was the people and the culture. Throughout the interview process, everyone I met at AdvancedMD was direct and thoughtful. It was clear that everyone, not just the customer support team, cares about doing the right thing for its customers, and each other. That people-first mindset, something AdvancedMD CEO Amanda Sharp prioritizes across the organization - and the fact that AdvancedMD, Inc. is solving real problems for healthcare providers - made the decision to join AdvancedMD feel easy. As Chief Customer Officer, what are your top priorities in the coming year? My biggest focus is removing everyday frictions for its customers. Its Customer Success team is here to represent the customer, and to make working with AdvancedMD feel straightforward and consistent. This year, I'm prioritizing improvements to make the overall experience smoother so that customers feel the difference in every interaction. What makes the AdvancedMD community so unique? One thing that's been clear to me is that its organization's customer-first mindset starts at the top. It's a powerful reminder that what AdvancedMD, Inc. do really matters. In the short time you've been part of AdvancedMD, what do you love most about the company? Without a doubt, it's the people who make up the AdvancedMD team. There's a lot of tenure here among its staff. You can tell people genuinely care and take ownership of their work and their relationships with its customers, vendors, and partners. I also love that the AdvancedMD platform is practical - it helps clinicians get through their day easier, while also helping to deliver an improved patient experience. How do you like to spend your time when you're not in the office? Outside of work, I'm usually with my family doing something active. AdvancedMD, Inc. like fitness races (HYROX and similar events). My daughters have competed in aerial silks for years, and AdvancedMD, Inc. spend a lot of time cheering them on. My son and I also love exploring the mountains, and AdvancedMD, Inc. is on the water whenever AdvancedMD, Inc. can. Utah makes it easy to be outside.
