Overview

AltaPointe Health Systems provides integrated behavioral health, primary care, and substance use treatment across Alabama through hospitals, a crisis center, outpatient clinics, and Accordia Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center. Its care model combines medical services delivered by physicians and extenders with coordinated behavioral health and addiction treatment, supported by an academic partnership with the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. This integrated network allows patients to receive multiple services in related settings, improving continuity of care. The goal is to expand access to comprehensive mental and physical health services in Alabama and to support medical education and psychiatric care through its affiliations.
