Amplify provides K-12 curricula that combine interactive lessons with digital tools. Its main offerings—Amplify CKLA, Amplify ELA, and Amplify Science—include hands-on activities, digital modeling, and structured classroom discussions to improve student engagement. The programs are sold directly to schools and districts, with an online store for individual components, and are used by public and private schools to modernize curricula. Unlike others that focus on a single subject or format, Amplify packages literacy, science, and broad learning experiences into integrated curricula designed to support teachers in guiding active classroom learning. The company's goal is to help students achieve better learning outcomes by providing accessible, well-structured curricula and supporting materials that fit school needs.

Science Research parent boosters to hold 6th annual dog-friendly Wag-a-thon fundraiser on October 4. September 24, 2026 Hold on to your leashes and grab your best furry friends because AMPLIFY, the parent support group for the Pelham Science Research Program, is barking with excitement to announce the 6th Annual Wag-a-Thon! This year's event is poised to be bigger, better, and wag-tastically fun, with a new neighborhood venue and an enhanced format that promises to make tails wag and spirits soar! Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 4, 2026 from 12 - 2 PM. Meet at the Kaplan home at 205 Elderwood Ave. for a celebration where science meets community in the most delightful way. As its largest fundraising extravaganza of the year, the Wag-a-Thon is a pawsome opportunity to support Pelham's Science Research students as they gear up for their state, national, and international symposiums. Whether you're a dog-lover or just love a good time, everyone is welcome to join the fun. You can pre-register online or sign up on-site when you arrive. With every donation of $30 or more, you'll be rewarded with scrumptious dog treats - because who says fundraising can't be a treat for its four-legged friends? Plus, Pelham Examiner'll also be raffling off exciting prizes. This year's Wag-a-Thon is not just a walk in the park; it's a full-blown festival where you can enjoy a live DJ, fresh baked goodies, dog contests, and special treats for your canine companions! As you munch and mingle, you'll also have the chance to engage with its talented Science Research students who will host lively, informal breakout sessions. They'll share fascinating insights from their summer research and future projects, honing their presentation skills while you learn about the cutting-edge work being done in science, technology, and engineering. The Wag-a-Thon isn't just about the science - it's about strengthening the bonds between its school and the Pelham community. The funds raised will fuel its students' participation in research competitions and provide essential support like student grants, registration fee assistance, and resources beyond the typical school budget. "We encourage the community to rally around our students and learn more about their intense summer science work. This is all about forging strong connections among students, parents, mentors, and local organizations as we kick off another busy year," said Steven Beltecas, Science Research Director. "We hope you will come out to enjoy some tunes, treats, and four legged friends." AMPLIFY warmly invites the entire Pelham community to be part of this joyful and impactful event. Whether you're eating, mentoring, or donating, your involvement helps its students chase their dreams and achieve greatness in their academic pursuits. So, grab your furry friend (friendly pets only), bring your appetite, and join Pelham Examiner for fun, food, and fantastic science at the Wag-a-Thon! Seen Presents appoints Alex Smith as head of operations. Global brand experience agency, Seen Presents, has announced the appointment of Alex Smith as its first head of operations, strengthening its senior leadership team. The new role reflects the agency's continued evolution as it scales internationally. With last year's official launch of Seen Presents Inc. in the US, and five US projects delivered in 2026 alone, the agency is expanding its footprint on both sides of the Atlantic. Smith has already been instrumental in this journey, refining processes across the business to enable the delivery of major projects across Las Vegas and Los Angeles for clients including TikTok, Netflix and MediaLink. Alongside these US wins, the agency has maintained strong momentum in the UK and EMEA, recently welcoming new clients such as Pinterest, Peroni, The New York Times and Red Bull. Smith joins Seen Presents from Amplify, where she most recently served as head of operations. With over a decade of experience across the experiential industry, including roles at Jack Morton Worldwide, she brings expertise that will help drive Seen Presents' next phase of growth. Her appointment reinforces the agency's commitment to pairing creative ambition with operational excellence. She joins a close-knit, female-led senior leadership team headed by managing director Louisa O'Connor, alongside client services director Natasha Broady and head of creative and design Chris Blaydes. Louisa O'Connor, managing director said: "Our growth has been unprecedented, and it was extremely important to me to get someone in the business who had navigated that kind of growth and expansion before to set the business and the team up for long term success. Alex has a wealth of knowledge, and her calming can-do attitude has already made a significant impact on Seen Presents and it's been a joy to watch her at work. I know the team are already seeing vast improvements and I'm excited to see how this next chapter unfolds with Alex by our side" Alex Smith, head of operations added: "I truly believe that the best work comes from building a collective of exceptional people who are driven to create defining work, and it was clear to me that Seen Presents has that in abundance. I'm delighted to be joining the agency at this pivotal stage of growth, and to have the opportunity to work alongside such talented individuals to help drive its continued success from here."

Gainsight makes triple hire to boost growth. March 25, 2026 Gainsight has announced the appointment of three senior leaders to its finance and go-to-market operations. Following the departure of Alka Tandian, after nearly seven years in the CFO role, Gainsight has appointed Paul Sheppard as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In addition, the firm has appointed Ozlem Yuksel as Executive Vice President of Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Operations and Emily Singer as Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing. The appointment comes six months after Chuck Ganapathi became CEO, and they are the first new leaders that Gainsight has announced. It is an exciting time for Gainsight as it looks to consolidate its recent acquisitions, including Skilljar, Update AI, and Moderate Kit. It has scaled its Agentic retention platform following the launch of Atlas, including multiple agents and further investment in Staircase AI. The company has also been recognised for its leadership in customer success from both Gartner and Forrester. With these go-to-market hires, it hopes to see the business grow further. Chuck Ganapthi, CEO at Gainsight, commented, "We are building the next chapter of Gainsight in a moment that demands both innovation and speed. Paul, Ozlem and Emily each bring a unique combination of domain expertise and enterprise execution, and represent the caliber of operators we need to succeed. We are excited to welcome them to the team." Who is Paul Sheppard? Sheppard will oversee global finance, strategic planning, investor relations, M&A, legal, human resources and IT operations. Sheppard joins from Amplify, where he was CFO and head of Corporate Development. He has held several CFO positions during his career, including at Entangled Group, Invoke, and ConnectEDU. He was also the Chief Operating Officer, Learning Science Platforms & Vice President, Strategy, at McGraw-Hill. During his career, he has worked in investment banking and Private equity, both in the UK and the US. Sheppard has an MA in Social and Political Science from Cambridge and an MBA from Wharton. He also volunteers as a mentor at the NYU Steinhardt Edtech Accelerator and is based in New York. Sheppard commented, "Gainsight has a proven ability to translate product innovation into tangible business outcomes for customers. I am joining an exceptional team of builders committed to helping Customer Success and Revenue leaders drive agentic transformation." Who is Ozlem Yuksel? Yuksel will be responsible for aligning Gainsight's GTM execution across sales, marketing and customer success. For the last couple of years, she has taken a career break, spending time with her family, travelling, and learning new skills. Before the Gainsight announcement, she posted about her recent experiences, "I reflected deeply on what kind of work and what kind of teams energize me. And I reconnected with curiosity, creativity and joy - things that I had lost in the daily grind. I'm incredibly excited and ready to bring this renewed perspective and focus into my professional life." Her last corporate role was at Google, where she was VP of Americas Operations. Before Google, she spent over 8 years at Salesforce in senior roles across Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing. Earlier in her career, she held positions at Hewlett-Packard. She began her career at McKinsey and Company. With nearly twenty years of experience across various industries, she is a recognised leader in B2B GTM strategy. She has worked at leading SaaS vendors and brings a wealth of experience to the role. Yuksel has a BS in Industrial Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi, a Master's in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford, and a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Stanford. She is also a member of the Chief Network. Yuksel commented, "Customer success has entered a new era where digital, agentic and human capabilities work seamlessly together to create lasting value," said Yuksel. I joined Gainsight because I believe we have the opportunity to redefine what that looks like at scale. I'm excited to help operationalize this next evolution by building a go-to-market engine that turns Customer Success into a measurable growth driver." Who is Emily Singer. Singer will lead corporate narrative, integrated marketing, brand strategy and global events. During her career, Singer built and scaled high performing terms at several B2B technology companies. She joins from Spring Health, where, as VP Marketing, she increased share of voice from sub-30% to 60-90% among key competitors, expanded press coverage by 50% YoY, and drove 10x web traffic during marquee campaigns. She joined Salesloft following its acquisition of Drift, retaining her VP of Marketing role. Singer led the GTM integration strategy for the acquisition. She aligned two high-performing marketing teams under a single vision while delivering on Drift-only marketing commitments and providing Sales support. Before Drift, she was the Director of Corporate Communications at Alteryx. Early in her career, she worked in PR at various agencies. She has a BSc in PR and Sociolog from the University of Oregon and an MBA from the University of Colorado. Singer commented, "Gainight has earned credibility, community and unrivalled leadership in Customer Success and is now uniquely positioned to disrupt the category it created. I deeply resonate with the company's mission to be human-first while winning in business, and I have long admired the brand's mastery of both AI innovation and human connection. I am excited to partner with this incredibly talented team to author our next chapter." Enterprise times: what does this mean. Gainsight has added three experienced leaders who can help it scale in a market that is growing more competitive. Despite being the leader, there are growing numbers of competitors in a market that is becoming crowded. Hiring Yuksel is an especially strong appointment. With time to reflect on her career to date, she will be eager to make a difference and continue her career where it left off. Singer brings deep experience and has led the integration at Salesloft. Drift will be valuable if Gainsight continues to make acquisitions as it did last year. In Sheppard, Gunapathi has found an experienced CFO who has experience in dealing with private equity and funding. Gunapathi is putting a new and exciting team together that he expects will deliver the growth he is seeking. March 19, 2026 March 11, 2026
