Ando, a company building AI infrastructure for the hourly workforce, has raised $4 million in seed funding led by Slow Ventures. Participants include Blitzscaling Ventures, Zero Capital, Monochrome, Gaingels, Mana Ventures and Fireroad. The San Francisco-based startup uses AI to forecast demand and create schedules that accommodate workers' real constraints, including childcare, school pickups and multiple jobs. The platform has achieved over 90% demand accuracy on a daily basis and maintains 100% customer retention. Ando addresses a market of approximately 80 million hourly workers in the US, where turnover regularly reaches 150%. The company has been serving enterprise customers for over a year, with some locations reporting $60,000 to $80,000 in incremental revenue. The funding will support platform expansion and enterprise customer scaling.
