Anduril Industries develops advanced autonomous systems for military and security purposes, primarily serving government clients like the U.S. Department of Defense. The company's main product is the Lattice platform, a software system that integrates various autonomous air, land, and sea vehicles for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. This platform enables these systems to operate together effectively in challenging environments, providing continuous security and awareness. Anduril's product range includes autonomous air systems such as the Roadrunner and Ghost, as well as underwater vehicles like the Dive LD, and it also supplies rocket motors for defense and commercial use. Unlike many competitors, Anduril focuses on integrating new technologies into its offerings to maintain a competitive edge. The company's goal is to enhance defense capabilities by providing comprehensive security solutions across multiple domains.

Meta Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been on a monthslong charm offensive with the Trump administration Copyright 2025 The Associated Press. All rights reservedMeta is courting national security and former Pentagon officials to help sell its virtual reality and AI services to the federal government, Forbes has learned. Multiple former government officials said they were aware of the recruiting efforts.Meta, which recently opened up its Llama AI model for military use, has long maintained lobbyists in D.C., but almost half a dozen current open roles indicate it is bolstering its efforts to secure lucrative government contracts. The company is seeking two public policy managers, including one to focus on the White House — preferably with a security clearance and previous Pentagon work — to “lead our outreach to national security and foreign policy agencies within the Executive Branch of the U.S. government on both policy issues and adoption of our technologies.”In January, Meta hired Francis Brennan, a former Trump advisor, to lead strategic communications out of D.C. Another recent hire, who according to their Linkedin worked for an undisclosed federal government agency for more than a decade, posted about joining Meta to focus on its “intelligence sharing” with the government
Alongside the acquisition news, Anduril introduced a new offering named Menace T, a portable system designed to deliver fast, on site computing and network connectivity in harsh and remote settings, all in a package small enough for one person to carry and deploy within minutes.

Anduril Industries, the defense startup known for building AI-driven battlefield systems, is acquiring Ireland-based Klas to strengthen its autonomous warfare capabilities. Anduril announced Monday that it has signed a deal to acquire Klas, a company that makes rugged communications gear used by military forces worldwide. The terms of the deal weren‚Äôt disclosed, and it still needs regulatory approval. But the aim is clear: Anduril wants to beef up its autonomous warfare capabilities by combining its software with Klas‚Äôs field-ready hardware. In a news release on its site, the Peter Thiel-backed tech startup said:“Anduril Industries today announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Klas, a global leader in edge computing and tactical communications. The acquisition, pending regulatory approval, brings Klas‚Äô rugged hardware into Anduril’s portfolio of autonomous systems and connected warfare capabilities‚Äîdelivering faster, more resilient and seamlessly integrated solutions for operations in harsh conditions at the tactical edge.”¬†Anduril to Acquire Klas to Boost AI Battlefield Tech and Drone CommunicationsKlas isn‚Äôt some scrappy newcomer. The company has been around for over three decades and has built rugged computers and networking equipment that work in the harshest environments‚Äîplaces where there’s no power grid or cell signal. That kind of gear makes it possible for troops to stay connected and operate drones in the field.Once the deal closes, Anduril plans to integrate Klas’s hardware into Lattice, its central software platform that stitches together data from drones, sensors, and other unmanned systems
Anduril Industries is set to acquire Ireland-based Klas to enhance its AI warfare systems. The deal, pending regulatory approval, will integrate Klas's tactical communication hardware into Anduril's Lattice platform, improving real-time battlefield data synthesis. Klas will continue operations in Ireland and the U.S., with plans to expand. This acquisition is Anduril's ninth since 2017. The company is also in talks for a funding round that could raise its valuation to $28 billion.
